This work helps keep the City&rsquo;s water system clean and water quality at optimal levels. Work will take place weekdays between 8 am and 3 pm, weather permitting, through the month of May. The fire hydrants on the south side of the City will be flushed first with work proceeding northerly until finished.<br \/>\nDue to sediments that may be stirred up during these flushings, the public is advised this might cause some water discoloration and you may want to refrain from doing laundry during these hours.
