\n\tThere are several types of trash; regular household garbage, yard waste, larger household items and hazardous materials. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n\tHow to properly dispose of your trash, lawn debris and household items.<\/span><\/p>\n

Household Trash<\/h3>\n

\n\tThe City does not provide weekly household trash disposal.  There are several local waste haulers that provide services to suit your individual needs.  Everything from large dumpsters, smaller bins or individual bags.<\/p>\n

Rubbish Disposal<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

People living outside of the City limits, should check with their township officials to see if they provide this service during the year.<\/span>  Emmet County also has a year 'round Transfer Station<\/a> that accepts most all types of trash, rubbish, construction debris, etc. for a fee.  Located at 7363 Pleasantview Road, Harbor Springs * Phone: (231) 526-2031<\/p>\n

CITY-WIDE RUBBISH PICKUP<\/strong> – For residents living within the City limits of Boyne City, the City provides a rubbish pick-up twice per year for larger items that cannot<\/strong> be disposed of with your household trash; such as mattresses, furniture and light construction debris. <\/span><\/p>\n

Only one pickup day is scheduled for spring and fall…<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This collection will serve all 3 unit or less residential properties in the City. It does not serve commercial properties.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
